Where did you hear that it was going to be cancelled? I heard that it was one of the shows that was first on the slate for the UPN WB merger fall linup. I think i recall one of the exects saying he was excited to be putting Veronica Mars and Gilmore girls on the same channel. I don't think it's being cancelled, and i sure hope not!

Might be cancelled. They were originally really excited to put Gilmore Girls and Veronica Mars together, but Veronica Mars's Nielson ratings have plumeted. Far lower than they were last season, and it was the show with the lowest number of viewers to be renewed last year. The head UPN exec loves the show (she was the reason it got a second season), so she might choose based on how good the show is, but the ratings are so low...
I think that Veronica Mars would do far better with some of the WB shows because it's so much like Buffy, so I think if they gave it another year, the ratings would rise.
The schedule won't be announced until May, but, with the way the ratings are, if Veronica Mars is renewed, it'll be completely based on whether the execs think the change will bring up the ratings and how much they love the show. And, of course, more viewers wouldn't hurt.

Btw, it looks like ratings for PLan B were a lot up. Back to how it was earlier in the season.

Veronica Mars is so cool! It hasn't come out in Ireland yet? That sucks! I don't know the whole differences between regions for dvds (other than that the US and a lot of other countries aren't compatible), but I would think the dvds would be available online or something.
I hope it comes out in Ireland soon so you get a chance to see it.
So many great shows get cancelled, and I'd hate to lose another show I love.

That sucks to be so busy with exams. Mine are over in a week.
I was so angry that they cancelled Tru Calling! And Firefly! And so many other amazing shows. The Fox Network seems to cancel good shows a lot.
Of course I don't mind if you add me! It always helps to have someone to rant to about shows. I keep adding Veronica Mars fans to my friends list and converting my other friends so I have more people to rant to.

That episode of Buffy was amazing. I remember that I kept on thinking different characters were going to die because of what happened during certain scenes, so I couldn't stop crying during the episode and it was even worse after it was over. My mom kept on saying "There's going to be another season, you know," as if I thought Buffy was permanently dead and that wasv what made me cry.

I'm a sucker for those scenes when the character is having an emotional breakdown. Like when Buffy finds her mom and has that slow realization and reaction through the entire episode. Or her friends' reactions to Buffy dying at the end of The Gift.

Yeah, I wasn't screaming at the tv, but I think that's because I was crying too hard.

I was in shock when Buffy found her mom. I'm not usually a Dawn fan either, but I agree that that bit was heart-wrenching. For me it was all about how Joss filmed it. I loved how he made it seem like we were intruding on the scene.
