Happy Pancake Day!
I've just had crêpes suzettes. Yum. (That's orangey pancakes for those not in the know!)
And I've finally caught up with the goings on at tos_slash_rp, and posted as Yuan. Phew! I'm also caught up with all my friends' LJs and with the Gravi RP that I'm involved in. I've yet to tread anywhere near the millions of fanfic comms I usually watch. And of course I still have to manually reload all the stories to Tales of Attraction, since we changed webhost.
So it seems I am singing a solo in the Ash Wednesday service tomorrow. I was standing in for the 2nd soprano in the quartet of Allegri's Miserere mei, Deus before I went to Hong Kong and she came back to last week's rehearsal. I was a bit narked actually, cos she sings kinda flat. She's got a really big voice and I think holding it back to blend with everyone else is probably the cause, but still. Anyway, she's got laryingitis so the choir master phoned me this evening and asked if I could be on standby. Guess I should look at them tricky Latin words!
I realised today that I've barely seen sunlight since returning from HK. I haven't been shopping, so I've only been out at night, to choir or to work. That's kind of depressing. No wonder my skin's so bad! Must go out for a walk tomorrow.
