Like, how did they look when they saw the audience. Or how Adam looked when everyone screamed at the mention of Party Down.
They were all pretty stoic, you know? No one was jumping out of their chair going "LOOK AT ALL THE PEOPLE". But I don't now, there was something about the way they were looking all around at everyone that gave me the impression that they were so happy about the turn out.
Even when people went nuts for Party Down, Adam remained low key, but he was definitely smiling and seemed happy to know that people appreciated it.
Lastly, the one thing I don't think I could have handled if I was there was me not being able to contain myself if they DO show Harvest Fest. How rabid did the crowd get?
It was crazy watching it with such a big audience, because you know how laughter just naturally builds in a theater? It was like that, and so even the tiniest joke got a huge reaction. I'm really excited to watch it again because I know I missed a lot of dialog. I have to say, when the theme song came on and everyone started cheering, I got goosebumps.
And omg, how amazing was it to meet other P&R fans?
I meant it on Tumblr when I said that this show has the greatest fans in the world. I feel like in other fandoms it's almost a competition over who loves it the most. But honestly, meeting some of them last night and overhearing others' conversations before and after the event, these people were just so happy to be there. Yeah, it got a little cutthroat trying to get to the stage, but even then people were really polite and made sure no one was getting crushed to death.
