Why couldn't it be the week in between?
Ben and Melly's wedding coincides with the Helvatia Half Marathon. Duh, a wedding is a once in a lifetime event and I'm looking forward to the vacation in LA. I was planning on doing the Pacific Crest Half two weeks later just like last year anyway, but if I had to choose between the two of them, I'd pick Helvatia. I like the course and I might even have the chops to post a competitive time this year. I was pretty stoked to try. Pacific Crest has the high-elevation-less-oxygen thing.
