So here comes my fan letter, written to Die of Dir En Grey, with my comments (red). I hope you will enjoy it!
Dear Die-san, See? I'm absolutely polite. Anyway does anybody know if it had to be written with a hyphen or separate? Tell me in PM ^.~
I’m XY [sorry I can't give my name, you know, I don't want to be tracked down by DEG staff, it's enough that they put theitrfilthy hands on my beautiful and polite fan letter], a working university graduate [See? I didn't give out my age. Note to myself: check the LJ settings... it's enough for me to know that I'm 27. Oh, and saw that nice self-polishing description of myself?] from Hungary, Europe. [Just in case.] Since I got to know your music last year, I wanted to write a letter to say thank you for the music Dir En Grey creates. [God, your music is just f***ng agrfljfdjhbfgjthbgisuxclidvjgo!!!!]
I knew the band earlier [translates: I was scared of Kyo earlier] but somehow I didn’t feel like listen to your music. [translates: I saw a video on YT and God, it was enough for me back then to leave the whole thing. You know, Wacken. I know, it's not your fault Die-san but please couldn't you just smack him on the head like, "man, whadda hell are ya' doin'?"] Last year was hard in my professional life [Last year? In my professional life?! My whole life is a mess since two years now! But you don't have to know this dear Die-san, maybe you would think there is something wrong with me but it's not me, it's Life, so~ where I was? Yes,] and a friend of mine recommended Dir En Grey. [That's bullshit again but sorry, it wouldn't came out good to write that I was just browsing the net and oops... there was a DEG video and I liked it, especially since I saw it on YT. YT is the drug of the 2000's.] I was surprised to find how much your music suits me and how much work you have done since 1997. [Do you know how much time it took to get to know the whole thing? But it was worth it.] It’s fantastic! [I have to repeat myself, your music is just f***ng agrfljfdjhbfgjthbgisuxclidvjgo!!!!]
I was able to find my youth through your music (with my brother we used to listen rock and metal when I was a child) [Well, actually this one is true. We listened to Mötley Crüe and Sepultura and Pantera and Hungarian metal bands like Ossian and so on, the list is long. And I was 13! *got a weird taste already back then*] and now I can find energy in your music when I’m feeling down. I always stand up and fight for myself and I have found this attitude in Dir En Grey’s music. [Hmmm... I think you know where the lie lies :D and it's not about my fighting spirit...]
I’m writing to Die-san because you are my favorite member. [because you can speak English. I would write to Shinya-san too, if I dared to write to him and I were 100% sure he would understand everything.] I think you could have a bigger role in the PVs, but well, it’s still o.k. especially compared to Shinya-san. [That guy is actually hiding behind his drums! I know that it's experimenting with the sounds of different drums but for Christ sake, isn't he afraid that one day the whole thing will just collapse on him?!]
The one thing I really like is when they show your hands [I like your hands *drools*] because it makes me certain [*drools*] that it’s Die-san, who plays those great melodies. [*drools*] I like your solos, too because they are sharp and just sound great! [I like your hair too and I would be curious what kind of shampoo and etc. do you use. But. Beside the fact that it would be too personal (and I would be tracked down by the evil DEG management) and normally you can't buy Japanese shampoo in Hungary... my hair is curly so ... you know... "L"] It would be great to see you live in Hungary [*totally drools and hopes and everything*] (or somewhere near, here in Europe). [I can name a few place, if you want I can look up venues and of course I can help you with organizing a European Tour. Just call me, my number is XXX. Of course you can call me with other problems, too. *winks*]
I wanted to send a self-addressed envelope in case you would honor me with a reply but well… it’s pretty hard to buy Japanese stamps in Hungary. [You know this bullshit with the 80¥ envelope? F*ck, it's one thing to buy it but I don't think it costs 80¥ to send a letter to Hungary from Japan... Any information?] So instead of an envelope, here is my e-mail: XXX.. [Sorry it contains my name.]
I wish you, Die-san and Dir EN Grey the best health, greta ideas in creating music and strength to continue with your hard work. [Ooops, it's already the end? I wanted to say so much more, but I know that you don't have too much time and all I can say is to "Answer meeee!!!" I really don't want to be demanding but please~ pretty please with a cherry top of it? *puppy eyes* ... *gets dragged away by an evil manager-san*]
Best regards,
X. Y.
PS: I've also sent this letter via Dir En Grey’s OHP on the DD.M.YY. [Yeah, I'm a "make sure" person.]
A/N. Well, I hope you liked my fan letter. What did I leave out? What would you have written in it?
