Important Life 2.0 Stuff!
Hello friends! I haven't been the best about keeping this under wraps and instead of info leaking out like... there's nowhere pleasant that could go, scratch that simile, instead of slowly letting the cat out of the bag to certain people as I accidentally tell them, I am just dumping the cat out right here: I am moving to Champaign-Urbana, Illinois at the first of the year. The date is not set in stone but it's set in quick-dry cement. Between the 1st and the 3rd benchilada and I will be watching well oiled men put my belongings in a truck and we'll be flying to the midwest to start Life 2.0!
It's really exciting and wonderful- I can't wait to be with benjamin all the time and not have to worry about when the trip is over and we have to part. Also we're totally going to get married. I put that in the middle to see if you're paying attention.
It's really heartbreaking and scary- I love all of my friends and family here so much. I've never lived more than a few hours away from my parents and brother. I've never lived more than a town away from Josie. I'm going to miss everyone and I hope you'll try to stay in touch.
Time is fleeting (madness takes its toll) so now's your chance to get some Nadja QT in. Since I'm unemployed I'll be home packing most days and could use walkies and coffee breaks. benjamin will be out here between Christmas and New Year and we'll be out and about doing social things. I'd love to see people in person before I head off.
