things i should not attempt to do while on nyquil, but have tried today anyway:
knitting
reading
working on my nano story
following along with an episode of CSI
posting to my lj (it's absurd how many times i've had to edit this to get it this typo-free)
interacting with other humans
things that i will not hurt myself by doing while on nyquil:
laying around like a beached whale
playing with balloons
staring blankly at the television, whether it is on or off
thigns i have been clever or lazy enough to not bother with while on nyquil:
cooking (delivery pizza ftw!)
cleaning
operating heavy machinery*
homework
why, oh, why is it that even otc drugs hit me this freakin' hard, turn me into a complete zombie, but still won't put me to sleep?
*the very best book inscription i have ever seen -- and i've seen some awesome ones -- was the inscription in my copy of the novelisation of the D&D movie, which i bought because it was written by a friend. he glared at me when i brought it to him to autograph, and scrawled out "Do not read this book while operating heavy machinery XOXO Neal" and i loved him even more dearly than i had before.
