Who: Eva Lamontagne (THE SNOW QUEEN) and Bob Trowbridge (THE BRIDGE TROLL)
When: The day after the fight
Where: Bob's room at the Pentamerone.
What: Anser sends Eva in to do some cleaning up.
Rating: PG. Maybe R, depending on Bob's reaction.
Eva looked somber as she made the trek from her office to Bob's room. Contrary to popular belief, she didn't live to be mean to people - she simply didn't have a problem exercising authority. Perhaps that's why Anser had appointed her as the assistant librarian overlooking Scandinavian tales, but then again, perhaps not. His assignment for her had been pretty simple that morning: talk to Bob, and clean up the mess he had made.
She knocked on the door to his room, before trying the handle. Chances were that the door was locked, if he was in fact as injured as she had heard. "Excuse me, Trowbridge. May I come in?" Eva wasn't asking for permission, she was simply being polite.
She somehow doubted even that would be enough to soften the blow of what was coming.
