It was Wednesday, and every Wednesday Edie dedicated herself to the Pentamerone in order to clean and repair whatever may have necessitated it. Usually this was done in a whirlwind fashion, efficient and sparkling clean- but quickly enough to be done in time to get to class that night. However, with school let out for the holiday and not restarting until February she found herself able to take her time and enjoy the tasks she undertook. With the Ambassdor's suites, bathrooms, and meeting hall done by noon, the choice had been made to take a break before continuing. Shoving her rag into the back pocket of those worn denim jeans, she headed out to the market to gather the ingredients for a proper lunch before entering back through the entryway with two good sized brown paper bags that seemed to carry enough to feed a small militia company at the very least; it was always likely that there would be a few unexpected guests to eat.
"Hello Bob!" The voice sang out from behind a green mass of orange tops, though no movement was made to stop as she continued on her way to the kitchens. The bags placed down on the counter with a soft thud, with an exhausted puff of hair from her face Edie pushed up the sleeves of her black sweater and headed to the sink to wash up.
