south africa: first post
Hi everyone!
This is the first time I actually come close to a computer so I simply had to make a post right? Don't mind the spelling, it's that stupid qwerty key board that is driving me mad!!!!
I'm doing fine, I'm doing great really. Seen beautiful things and places and I'm still thrilled to be here.
A few things I have done in the past ten days:
- visited the Kruger Park and seen the Big Five: Elephants, buffalos, rhinos, leopards and lions. a fantastic experience!
- swum in a natural lake.
- stood on the highest top in Joburg, which is in fact the dirty New York of S-A
- seen one of the football stadiums they are building for the World Cup in 2010
- seen a giraffe walk into our back yard when we were staying in a backpackers and I was up really early
- eaten a real Durban curry (but only mildly spiced)
So...yeah. I hope you are all doing great and I hope to get online really quickly hereafter to check your posts and other stuff.
