Well...It's like this...

So we had our appointment with our Realtor today at 1pm to see that Tudor House in Elizabethtown I made mention about in THIS POST.

Not that great of a home. Starting with the outside...The grounds are quite unkept, the pool - has not been used in a very, very long time and is in need of a great deal of TLC (read: lots of $$$ to get it fixed, etc). The inside - totally smallish and the hardwood floors have gone without any kind of care so they are very dull and just not nice looking at all. The kitchen was nice though. But we'll be checking this one off of our lists.

All was not lost though in our traveling down to the Lancaster area...We told our Realtor that we were interested in seeing some of the properties he had told us about. So we ended up in his office, he made a few calls and then about 40 minutes later, we saw 4 more properties!

The first one was a townhouse - totally not on our list of houses but we had driven by them coming into the area and were like "Whoa - those look impressive" and so we took a looksee. The townhouse is a very decent size with plenty of closet and storage spaces. The kitchen was very nice with all modern appliances, etc. With the townhouse comes the added bonus of the HOA (Home Owners Association) who takes care of all the landscaping and whatnot. The place had a decent sized backyard too which we need for the girls and for entertaining. The area is very good as well. Plus Michael could walk to work if he wanted to. All in all it would make a good starter house option. See it HERE

Next up was a bi-level house in Lancaster. The first thing I noticed about this house is there is land - a nice size piece of land around the house and it's in a nice, quiet neighborhood and close to the schools. It's got a 1-car garage but a driveway in front of the garage wide enough to fit 4 cars. I fell in LOVE with this house - absolutely in LOVE! I could go on and on about it for pages...so I'll just show you with pics. Yes, I actually took pictures of this house! The only one where I did. Here's the link to the pics ===> HERE

Bad news about this property though - After we went to see it, someone else put in a written offer on the house. *CRIES* Oh well...we have more places to see.

We saw two more bi-levels none of which we would be interested in. But there is still more to come. We will be meeting with Steve (our Realtor) again on Thursday. *keeps fingers crossed that we find one as nice as 462 Surrey Drive* - *sigh*
