Weekend update (not kitten related at all)...
Hey all ~
We had a nice laid-back kind of weekend which was much needed let me tell you. Yesterday was our second week of swimming (we had a break last weekend because of Easter and the facility being closed). I didn't go in the water this week though. If you have to ask why, then you aren't a woman with a monthly "cycle" - that's all I'm going to say on that matter. Anyway...both girls did an excellent job in the water. Ariel was actually swimming with the use of a kickboard! Aurora was dunked a few times and she didn't even cry. I took some pics with my crappy digital (I say crappy only because it's been very touchy these days and well with technology the way that it is, the camera is outdated already at 2 years old).

Then after we were done swimming we went to lunch at "Taco Smelly" and then went SHOPPING! Our day flew by so fast. We hit Loews (as we needed to pick up some new house numbers for Ulrich City), Berkshire Mall - where much of the time was spent in The Disney Store and Hot Topic (I purchased some great "slouch" ankle boots that were only $20 on clearance and a new make-up bag that has some cute GOTHLINGS on it and some Princess Bride pins that too were on sale.), and Target.
Today consisted of us doing a whole lot of nothing. Michael's hockey game got cancelled at the last minute because of the pouring down rain. But today marks Aurora's 8th month of life! I brought down Ariel's old Tot Wheels by Graco (basically it's a walker/activity center type thing) and spent a good chunk of time cleaning off the dust and laundering the seat part, and getting batteries put into it, etc. I have it down to the lowest setting (level 1) and Aurora can just barely touch the floor...she's so tiny still! It amazes me how different two kids can be. I mean Ariel was cruising around the place in that thing already at 6 months old. But Ariel was a huge baby in comparison. Anyway, the levels I'm talking about are the raising posts things (there's a 1, 2, and 3 with 3 being the highest the walker can raise up to).

Aurora really likes it though. There's so much for her to grab onto and play with! And it'll help strengthen her legs and such. All good things. Of course we had to take pics of her today too as I always do each month......The first four pics are ones that I took of her this morning around the actual time of her birth (9:55am) and the rest are of her having fun in the Tot Wheels that Michael took. You will notice on her left hand is a bandaid. We are trying to wean her off from sucking her hand and found that if we put a bandaid on it she won't suck on it. So far it's been working. We'll see how long we can keep her from doing that.
