Love ya D .. and this is quite honestly one of my favorite pictures of Ariel having been there when it was taken. :)

Now remember keep the girls apart when they are in their cages ... can't let them socialize or anything .. and when the razor is rusty enough let me know cause if you remember I have dibs on Ariels left foot. LOL

Like I said ... Do what you gotta do for you and yours .. fuck everyone else.

Wow. You know, I fought my parents on having my cat declawed, but we, too had to have it done in order to live in our apartment. She was also tearing everything to hell, including my (now ex-) boyfriend. He left my house one day with three huge slits across his wrist from her clawing him severely. Honestly, there are just some cases in which getting one's cat declawed is right.

And about the picture of your beautiful girl... I thought it was amusing because of the way her hand is positioned, but there is no way that you of all people would teach a child to do something so foul as flip off a camera. And yes, Ariel... the seed is lovely.

So yeah... my sympathy for you and the karma that those two will eventually evoked.

Add me to the list of inhumane people who have had a cat declawed (and, by extension don't feed, love, etc my critters). I'm seriously considering having Olivia's claws done, too, because she's wrecking havoc and doesn't want to keep the softpaws on. What's a person to do? Seriously?

Some people just can't be happy themselves unless they're criticizing other people... so screw whoever it was!

I had trouble with the soft paws as well. Bandit didn't want to keep them on. I found that we had a better chance of keeping them on him when I held him (and petted him) for about 10 minutes after putting the glue on. Unfortunately a couple of his nails started to get ingrown and I decided to stop using the soft paws. It is frustrating for both of us to put him through that. Now we just have scratching boxes everywhere and use a water bottle with vinegar in it to spray at him when he is scratching in unauthorized locations. Good luck!
