Listen here, red, don't you dare go calling Dolores a bad parent. I have no idea who you are or how you know Dolores, but don't you go around calling people bad parents for declawing a cat, and you certainly don't have a right to call her daughter a scourge, or whatever it was you called her. Ariel and Aurora are beautiful children. If you actually read this post, it said that her landlord told her she had to declaw the cat in order to be able to bring her home.
I had a cat that I declawed, and ya know what? She was the sweetest cat on the planet. She never had any problems walking or jumping or being a normal cat. In fact, it encouraged her to stay in the house and not run outside where she could get hit by a car or chewed up by the dog next door. She never had behavioral problems, she never peed all over the house, and she never got arthritis. She died a few years ago from cat cancer, which broke my heart because she was a comfort to me through my own cancer, and then she was gone.
Dolores, I hope this chick isn't a close friend of yours, cuz I am flat out calling her a bitch for being so mean to you and your kids. Don't listen to her, cuz you are not a bad parent or a bad pet owner. I can understand that you have a strong point of view about declawing being cruel to animals. I have read about it and it makes me cringe what they do to the animals, but sometimes you just have to. Just take it down a few pegs there, red.

"Ariel and Aurora are beautiful children."

I love how you tell *ME* to grow up, and here a grown woman is naming her children after Disney characters. Yes, I'm defending the disfiguration of a living animal for their convenience, and I'm the one who should grow up.

P.S. "beautiful" is clearly a biased opinion in this case.

What's in a name? sweetnsassysueb April 15 2007, 18:50:35 UTC
"What's in a name?
That which we call a rose
By any other word
Would smell as sweet"
~William Shakespear

Ariel = from Ariella Hebrew for "Lion of God; Ethereal"
Aurora = Latin fro "Daybreak, Dawn"
Delores = From the name DOLORES meaning Lady of Sorrows
Michael = Hebrew for "like God"
Susan = A Rose or from the Hebrew for Lily (That's my name Red)
Kris = From the name KRISTEN meaning Christ-bearer

Now... people choose their children's names for many reasons, including meaning, or naming them after someone or just because they like the sound of it.

AGAIN... I guess I must repeat myself YET AGAIN...

Go spend your time joining a political action group that will help further your cause in Animal Rights. Have fun stormin' the castle Red.

SueB :o)
