new project
New Projects...new beginnings, a new season. I've started knitting a sweater that has been on the drawing board for months. I just had to settle on the right yarn. I found a rough spun merino that feels like petting the sheep. I wonder who will eventually wear this one? Charting began for this one back when I thought I had enough New Zealand possum/merino blend to do a sweater for an adult. Wrong. That yarn is now a rugby striped blue and red pull over with a separate turtleneck. This new pattern is for a cable and twisted stitch, pull over (that I haven't decided on the neck style). There's a bumper sticker that reads "Don't knit and drive!" Hmmm.
