Wow, I have an LJ
I don't know if anyone's been wondering where I've been - many people who read this also follow me on Twitter - but for anyone who has, Hi. Not dead. I did whang my wrist pretty thoroughly while making cookies for Christmas, and unfortunately I didn't take care of that strained joint as well as I should've within the first 48 hours of injury. I'm getting better now, thanks to me being very aggressive about resting, icing, compression, elevation, and a few Advil from time to time, but I'm trying not to spend too much time on the keyboard if at all possible.
Work's also kicked up to somewhere past 11 this past week. Sigh. (Please, none of that "be thankful you have a job" commentary on here. Ditto for "just think of it as job security!" commentary. I'm not going to react well to comments like that posted here.)
In other news, Ash and Smoke go in to get their kitty tires rotated tomorrow. We're already planning to box up Ash first, because he is better at running and hiding than his Stupid Little Brother. Dragging Ash out from whatever hiding place he's discovered this time is never how I want to spend my morning before going to work.
So. How're y'all doing?
