Augh, girl crying. Spade doesn't really want to get involved, but can't really help it either. "Hey there. What happened?"

She looks up, concealing her bare breast with her arm quickly for modesty's sake, and chokes and sniffles for a moment until she speak. "The Lady's gentleman is dead."

"Which gentleman is that?"

[fair_hero]

"Sir Sagramore. O, I know not what had been done! He was bloodied over!" She buries her face in her little hands at the memory.

"Hey now, hey." He sits with her, puts a hand on her shoulder. "He'll be back, kid. It's alright."

[fair_hero]

This only causes her to cry harder. "O, my lord, you did not see't!"

[mancalledspade]

"What happened, hm?"

[fair_hero]

"O, he bled, he bled so terribly. He was wounded the whole of his body."

He nods. "Wounds don't seem to matter. I've seen a number, and they've all come back."

"Come back?"

[mancalledspade]

"It's this place. The people killed. Sometimes it's a few days, sometimes weeks, but they always come back to life.

"'A will be not longer slain?"

[mancalledspade]

He nods. "Eventually, yeah." Quieter: "Back home, I used to track down who'd killed people, sometimes. But here..." He shrugs. "People can just tell you when they get back."

"Nay, sir, but--healed?"

He nods again. "Yes. Completely, as far as I know."

A small, shining smile breaks through her tears. "Then the Lady will be glad again!"
