"Welcome to our brotherly time!"
So, off-topic, I have discovered a glorious thing:
Staying up until 2am = Snow Day
Two days in a row! This is a five day weekend...day two. And there is no snow on the ground. Today this is supremely beautiful because it gives me the chance to finish the plans I didn't do yesterday, time to hang out before heading home, and the chance to leave for home at a decent hour. Hip hip hooray! Oh, and because we had a 3am fire alarm.
So, last night I went to go visit Glover in King to watch Project Runway with him while he was on duty. I ended up in Jon and Jeremiah's room, watching them play Magic. Frank stopped by a little bit later with his deck. Then Dave and Mat. Jeremiah started trying to teach me how to play cribbage. I like it. It's a fun game, 'cept for the fact that I'm rather clueless.
Then the fun started. We taught Frank how to play Egyptian Rat Screw (ERS), which has to be one of the best card games on the planet. And we got so effing violent! Slapping the hell out of Jeremiah's little card table at 12am, laughing at the top of our lungs. I'll never forget how beet red Dave was. We played about four hands and they just got worse, literally leaning over the table, hand poised and ready to strike. My hand was so red from all of the slapping.
We have since decided that Card/Game Night needs to become a regular occurrence.
