How very special are we
I was helping Mindy, Jingjing and Sanae make a poster for Lunar New Year. I was drawing a pig and it reminded me of Wilbur from "Charlotte's Web." I found a website with the lyrics to the songs from the movie. They made me very happy. I miss that movie...really need to see the new one to see how it compares.
A few things that are going on right now...
Student Teaching is nonexistant. New Generation keeps getting closed for snow days. I'm going to be very hard-pressed to get in all of my observation hours. I don't see how it is going to happen now unless I stay an extra day on spring break. But since break starts on a Friday, I really don't want to stay here an extra weekend. I'm going to have to talk to Mrs. Grine to see what I can do. Maybe I could come in on an afternoon.
I have another week to wait for the results of the "American Daughter" auditions. We didn't have enough guys (go figure), so Dr. G is having more call-in auditions. Not including those auditions, so far the following people have auditioned: Emily B, Aly S, Michelle W, Jes W, Seth I, Ashley P, Shannon T, Katie M, Chris P, Dan R, and me. I'm holding out for Lyssa or Quincy but it is all going to depend on who gets cast for Walter. If you know any guys, please have them come and audition for this show!! I'm really nervous. But this weekend, I like to think that I got a little sign from God. A church marquee said "Worry is the thief of joy." I'm taking that as a sign.
