This semester flew by as it was...but it is still flying. And faster than ever.
The Messiah is on Sunday, which means a lot of time in Brenemann. But I'm enjoying it. Granted, I'm quickly getting sick of this music again, but I enjoy seeing everyone and getting to hang out with everyone. It's a comforting feeling.
Classes are almost done. No more HPE, no more EIS, no more philosophy! Can't wait to be done with these classes.
Of course, end of classes means finals. I had my HPE final on Monday, my lab final on Tuesday. Next week, I have GEO and PHI on Monday, Stagecraft on Tuesday, and Musical Theatre on Thursday. Blech. Oh, I also have my final paper for philosophy due tomorrow. But it is only 1000 words. It won't be too bad...once I pick a topic.
My friends are leaving. Chen is transferring to OSU. Mike B. is transferring elsewhere. Seth is graduating (but will be around next semester, which is nice). Devon is going abroad.
But some of my friends are coming back...Jenna and Mindy, especially. Yay. :)
The thought of the end of the semester means heading home.
Home is torn right now. My family is fine. Mike and I are as good as we have ever been. I have two jobs in a week...which means lots of time at the mall. I hope that I will be able to find time to spend with the few friends that I have at home. The majority of my friends are on campus. That's what happens when you move and live on campus for going on three years...you make so many new, wonderful friends who would do anything for you...and they become your new family.
This has to be the most beautiful,
the most peaceful place I've ever been to.
It's nothing like I've ever seen before.
When I think how far I've come
I can't believe it,
yet I see it.
In them, I see family...
However, most of my new family does not live in the Cleveland area, which is sad. The thought of spending all of my time away from my friends on campus...away from my crazy quad (lol), and my fellow Gundlach geeks, and my AP family, and everybody else...it hurts.
Books for next semester are going to cost an arm and a leg. Not ready to spend that kind of money yet...especially when I haven't even finished Xmas shopping.
But, one good thing about next semester starting...
ACTF!!! A wonderful, glorious week totally engrossed in my favorite pastime...theatre! A whole week around people that are as crazy as I am...and many who are worse. All of that great time with Jessie, Davey, Seth, Seth, Jes, Jena, Kim, Casie...it's going to be just the vacation I need.
Oh, to what was supposed to be the point of this entry...
Costina and I went to the House of Blues last night to see the Goo Goo Dolls!! Fourth row in the seating...it was incredible. No photo restrictions means hundreds of wonderful photos of the band (mainly Johnny Rzeznik) and amazing videos of their best songs. Oh, so wonderful!
OK...back to homework.
Ciao!
