Look, see, A-Phi-T!
It's official!! I am now an Alpha Phi Tau little sis! I've got the greatest big sisters (Alectrona & Enya) and my triplets (Rhiannon & Cerridwen) are amazing!
But the best of the best is my daddy, Dagda. He means everything to me and I adore him! He also gave me the coolest name in the entire world...Sirona.
I just can't believe that it's all done and I'm official. I've got letters and everything. But it's so much more than that. I've got 17 amazing sisters (we're the Erotic Exotic Eighteen), a ton more sisters, and 13 fabulous brothers. What more could you ever ask for?
The activation party was wonderful. I had a fabulous time with everyone...Davey got so drunk. He was absolutely hilarious.
I've bonded with so many people throughout this entire process...it's just wonderful.
Jessie and I have been close friends since I can remember and she is without a doubt one of my greatest friends ever. And now she's my sister! It's perfect. I feel like we got even closer.
Shannon and I don't really talk too much, but we found a lot of fun and common ground in this. "Here's to the sober toast!"
Abby and I have been bonding more and more as the year keeps going. Between pledging and last week's Dance-a-Thon in the room...she makes me laugh all the time. Seriously, the best roommate I have ever had. I adore her.
Corie and I have been doing double bonding. We're the only two Lil' Sisses that are also going through Alpha Phi Omega pledging. Doing double duty has been crazy, but it's bringing us closer together because now we have more common ground. She's such a sweetheart.
KB and Andrea are amazing. The best triplets I could ever ask for! I adore them.
Out of all of the girls, Jenna and I bonded the most. Despite surviving APsiO pledging together and all of our APsiO and theatre stuff, this is the first time we really got to know each other. We've sent countless IMs this week and she's been over so many times. She was the first person to tell me that she got in and I was so happy to share the news. Even tonight, it's like a double bond and I know that that is going to help with APsiO.
Again, though, it all pales to having Davey as my pledge father. He was the first real friend I made at Heidelberg. As soon as I heard him sing, "Santa Fe" at the "Godspell" auditions, I knew in a heartbeat that we were going to get along. Three years later, I can tell him anything and I know that he'll support me and help me through it. He's always going to be right by my side. Davey is the best...and the coolest daddy in the world.
I just can't believe that I'm official. I keep looking down at my t-shirt and I don't believe it when I see the letters. I keep waiting to wake up and realize that this is all an extremely elaborate dream.
But it's not. It really happened.
