I thought Fall Break was supposed to be fun.
Barely 24-hours into Fall Break, I'm slowly realizing that it isn't going to be all I thought. Granted, Mike and I had a wonderful night together. We haven't seen each other in three weeks, so it was nice to find time together.
I set my stereo for 11am and woke up to the sound of the Magic Kingdom Express Railway (very my family...trains and Disney). I decided to watch "Bewitched," but couldn't see the whole movie because the DVD player was acting up. I fell back asleep and woke up around 4. I had been thinking about going to LCR today to visit and get some observation hours for my EDU classes. I get myself out of bed on the thought of seeing little Kelan again, cutest boy on the planet. I drive all the way to LCR and no one is answering the doorbell. I call on my cell from the front door and ask for Sandy, who wasn't there. I explained that I used to teach there over the summer and I was hoping to visit with Sandy. (By this time, some very nice parent has let me in.) The lady on the phone explained that Sandy wasn't there. I'm now in the front lobby and can't go anywhere because I don't know any of the codes, nor is there anyone around to let me in. (They're not going to let someone that no one recognizes inside to visit.)
In other words, I drove to Rocky River for nothing.
I slept through my phone this morning, so Mike is going to hang out with Tommy and Randy tonight, which is fine. There's a chance that Roger and I might finally have time to see each other again, which would be wonderful.
My car is slowly becoming a hunk of junk. I hate my tire so much. As if the problems with my tire/wheel weren't enough, now my car needs an oil change and the wiper blade replaced.
In addition to this, I was planning to spend time with Katie this week. Ideally, I wanted to go shopping with her becuase I need to get my Halloween costume, as well as get back to Bath and Body Works about working there over the holidays...and ideally getting an application into the Disney Store again. But, Katie is working every day, so that probably isn't going to happen either.
Just ugh. Double ugh.
