The Insanity That is Tuesday

My craziness has come and gone and will be back very soon. A whole day packed with classes, meals, meetings, volunteering, choir, and rehearsal from 9am - 10pm (with just over two hours for break). And you what the bizzare thing is? I enjoyed it. Granted, I haven't read my stories for lit or answered the question for it (will do tomorrow before class) and I haven't finished my newspaper article (will finish after classes), but I'm happy. Being this busy has it's rewards. I'm kept out of my room, I meet more people, and I seem to be happier.

Today was the rush meeting for Alpha Phi Omega (APO), which is the national service fraternity on campus. It was simple, basic. Want of basic information, telling of their basic information, asking of questions about basic information, and leaving. I'm looking forward to becoming a member. I hope my mom/dad is nice and gives me a cool pledge name.

Rehearsal went well. We started half an hour late because Concert Choir got held back and we were missing about five people, including a lead and one of the whores (who has been missing rather frequently). Only one of the people had an excuse. With the show only 23 days away, the cast as a whole is beginning to lose patience for the people who continue to skip rehearsals. It's not fair to the rest of us who have to work harder since they are not there. Hopefully, they will start to show up soon.

Instead of leaving after we got our notes, I stayed to watch the rest of the first act and I helped Seth and Amy on their lines. I enjoy staying late, being able to help people and getting to see the show. I've had a lot of fun with it.

Well, tomorrow is another day (and considerably less crowded): class, observing, hooker shopping.
