Do you have recommendations for changes/updates/clarifications to the information we provide in the personal and rules posts

I'm rereading it now that I've seen the movie, and I like it a lot better. Maybe it's just because I can substitute Chris Evans' face and voice for comics Steve Rogers, who always makes me think of Dolph Lundgren as Drago in Rocky, which gives me negative interest in him as a hero character. Also, now I get a lot more of the ongoing story references- the first time I tried it I hadn't read many comics or interacted with Marvel fandom much and nothing made sense.

I actually started with Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America, which comixology puts at the end of Winter Soldier, because I wanted a sort of coda to the movie. Which it isn't, but I liked it a lot anyway. But then again it is by Jeph Loeb, and he wrote the original Teen Wolf movie, so you know it's gotta be good. (Okay, he wrote a lot of good comics, too, but who's counting.) I especially like the dynamic between Wolverine and Bucky, both being men out of time and soldiers in WW2. I liked how Tony was just kind of a mess at the funeral and then Falcon stepped up and did the big boy speech, and how Spider-Man was kind of a mess everywhere and also he accidentally beat up Rhino and knocked over his mom's grave. It's the small moments that Loeb really excels at.

I read the Winter Soldier run after having seen Chris Evans as Cap a couple of times, and yeah, I'm positive doing it in that order it hugely improved my reading experience. Chris Evans >>>>> Brubaker!Cap.

Brubaker!Cap is either an asshole or boring, so your conclusion doesn't surprise me.
