For the first time, the games I haven't watched in full outnumber the games I have. That's quite disappointing in a way. Hopefully I'll catch up this weekend.
Tonight is D-Day (if that's not a mixed metaphor) for the Socceroos, and there's just no escaping that fact anywhere in Australia. Which is a good thing. This time round the game is at 5am, so a significant slice of the Australian population will be getting up earlier than usual for the clash with Croatia.
I'm starting to feel quite nervous for them. We all know they can take it to Croatia, but can they convert that into success? I really hope so. Yes a draw will be enough (unless Japan upset Brazil) but they'll be playing for the win. Roll on 5am.
