I don't know about Treasure Planet's time, but in Treasure Island's time, it's more likely we would all just have the living daylights beaten out of us in front of one another. >_< Once a captain managed to get a crew (they were always competing with the Navy) they wouldn't give you up if they could help it--so being kicked off a ship was almost never a punishment--but they had a whole array of nasty things they could do to you; getting flogged with a tarred rope was the most common and likely, aside of simply getting your rations cut. It's one of the chief reasons that sailors turned to piracy--they weren't allowed to leave. Um, yeah, that's the history lesson you didn't want. Sorry!

Lucky for us, I doubt Pendragon is that cruel. :) Shin-sin-fa, who has experienced the OTHER sort of captain, still isn't all that keen on having to explain all this though hehe
