Seeing how its entirely possible that this summer might be a fairly lazy one, especially at the beginning up until June, I've decided to compile a reading list for the summer. At the moment, I'm the most inclined towards the classics, but I'm open to virtually anything contemporary as well.
So far, my list consists of the following:
-The Illiad
-Cancer Ward, by Alexander Solzhenitsyn
-The Name of the Rose, by Umberto Eco
-Foucault's Pendulum, by Umberto Eco
-Aristotle's Ethics
-Plato's Republic
I'm also looking into giving the original Dune series another read. If anyone else has anything else they highly recommend, I'd love to hear it.
