So Toys 'R' Us had a Pokemon Event this weekend where you could get a powerful Dragonite at level 50 (in normal game mode you can only get it when the previous Poke-evolution got to level 55).
I love wireless connections.
Originally you'd have to go in, wait in a line, connect with a cable, and have the Event Pokemon transferred into your game.
Nowadays you just need to be within the wireless range and have your game set on Mystery Gift mode.
My husband and I just got our Dragonites and we didn't even get out of the car. We just drove in a loop around the parking lot twice. Once to get his, then around and back to get mine.
As my husband puts it - we did a drive-by Pokesnatching.
Oh I know it's silly and pointless and frivolous. But Pokemon was one thing that got me and my husband together (as crazy as that sounds) and so I will be a Pokemaniac to the end.
Plus I'm kinda hoping my kids will get into it. Then we can be an unbeatable Pokemon training team!
