So once again I'm working on the story with my husband. I have enough to write the prologue (after deleting the original opening scene). But the world isn't fully formed yet.
There is a HUGE mountain range - which I named on the fly.
I changed the spelling of the country we start in. (It looked like a French woman's first name.)
I described landscape that may or may not be true.
I added in details about people in another country which I hope he likes.
Did I mention that this is my third draft? I can't move on until I get this right, which means that EVERY detail has to be gone over and agreed on between the two of us. I don't mean the grammar, or even the refinement of the descriptions (Zanthess I am SO going to need you to help me edit it later). Just the world-making details.
Yeah, and the fun part? It's only 3 pages long.
Something tells me that I'm missing something - but I just can't figure out what.
