That despite my classical music training, annoyance with post-modernism, and suspicion of pop music, my affection for Lady Gaga is growing daily.

I've been having a series of lovely days spending time with lovely people.

I still have to work on my great big list of things, but I have a better attitude about life, so it's easier to deal with things.

And somehow all of the problems of the world can be solved from a hot tub.

That I had another dream set at Crossroads last night. I kind of wish I'd written it down because it felt significant when I woke up. But it's gone now and I feel just slightly more peaceful.

Not only did I not get hired for the awesome interview job from a few weeks ago, she's not hiring anyone at all until March. Back to the drawing board.

I woke up this morning feeling disappointed that the typewriter someone had given me in my dream didn't exist in real life.

I'm crying in my living room. I can't believe it's real! My neighbors are lighting fireworks. I'm listening to Senator John McCain concede on NPR.

I'm completely and utterly freaked out about the election, but glad that it'll be over tomorrow. (Assuming no complications like in 2000)
