wizards of the coast has abanonded me for thier other children
I'm running a game for the son of Rachel's professional friend, Sean. Its really exciting because I feel like ALL people should play RPGs and its nice to help some kids learn to love D&D as much as I do. Unfortunately, being young, the kids are all up to date with the newest installation...dun dun dunnnnn...Edition 4.0.
I get it, Wizards. World of Warcraft is kicking your ass. You need to appeal to a different crowd, but really??!?!?!?!?!?!?? Did you have to change EVERYTHING? It too me an hour and 15 minutes to build a wizard from your crazy new PHB. And was it really that important to change Attacks of Opportunity to Opportunity Attacks? Now I can't write AOO. IT WAS FUN TO PUT SO MANY VOWELS NEXT TO EACH OTHER!
This makes me sad.
But they did knock back the number of skills to 17 from 8 million. so thats nice.
