(no subject)
new job is awesome! am tolerating woman who annoys the piss out of me quite well. still attending numerous training classes. I got to give an enema to a dummy that was literally just a butt. like mid-thigh to belly button at most. note: I will NEVER be giving enemas. this was a generic "assisting with meds" class for the state. I will probably never even be giving someone a tylenol, let alone an enema.
more importantly--I got my room yesterday! I get my own room with my own group and I can decorate and plan activities and all kinds of fun! I don't have a group quite yet, probably second week of july, since that's when I'll recert in mandt (the other two women I started with hadn't had mandt, and they'll want us to all get our groups at the same time, and you can't be alone with anyone until you've had mandt--the system of crisis de-escalation, and physical holds and restraints that they used at advoserv and are now switching to with the state).
anyway, I love my room. I love that I have a room. it's mine. I don't have my own room anywhere--I'm married and living with my in-laws. this is awesome! I took a picture but I couldn't seem to send it from my phone to my email--I thought I could do that, but I'm a little behind the times, techno-wise. text me and I'll text back a picture.
