Moon Viewing Party
Monday September 15th, 8pm at The PlayHouse! Michelle and I will be hosting a Moon Viewing Party in our lovely garden. Fire dancing, a dome, music, drum circle, moon viewing soup (traditional Japanese recipe*), friends new and old, old and young, everyone is invited. I'll be serving up a variety of patent medicines and ancient recipes** and a few surprises to boot.
This will be our first official party at The PlayHouse and we want it to be kick ass, I'll be putting in work for the next two weeks to turn this place into the palace you deserve to enjoy your selves in. Please bring $5 to help cover the cost of spices and food. If you would like to bring something to share, please keep it OLD. There are a number of beers that are recreated from ancient recipes, maybe some mead, or a hookah. Give me a call if you'd like to help with the feast and we'll work it out.
*Pretty amazing they have a specific food for the purpose, it is traditionally served in the first full moon in September and we couldn't pass up the chance.
**I've been researching medieval recipes and will be working my ass off to secure the most exotic of ingredients and spices from across the globe to bring you a taste of high fantasy, I can promise you a feast you'll talk about for years to come.
