Trying to be Happy
How can I possibly be "Happy" when life keeps throwing me curveballs. Today, I got a letter from Embarq saying that the phones will be cut off if they don't get payment by the 28th. That would be fine, except that WE DID PAY THE BILL. Of course we paid cash and of course we can't find the receipt. They are claiming we owe over 200 dollars... yeah like I can afford to pay that twice GRRR.... I mean I know it will all work out, but it just seems that there are booby traps everywhere I turn. I mean, it's no wonder I'm not happy. How can I be happy when my life could be yanked out from under me at any moment? Tell me, how?
