So dad got remarried last weekend. It was a lovely, laid-back weekend with an outdoor ceremony despite the continual rain, although I didn't get to relax too much as it was sprung on me at lunch that I was actually the day-of coordinator as well as the MC for the reception, a mere 2h before the ceremony. But everyone had a lovely time, my cake was a hit, and Adam and I totally made friends with the hot barmaid. We also managed a quick hour to meet Jason and Laura's new addition Evee who was TINY and 10 days old, and then lunch with the in-laws before flying home. It was also great to catch up with my sister, and spent a little more time with her partner Ryan.

It was a little awkward and rather stressful however, that our mother insisted on attending the wedding. Thankfully she didn't crash the speeches as I had feared, but she did have several teary moments over the course of the weekend which Em mostly ignored, leaving me to try and keep her together while I was also trying to put out placecards, perform cake cosmetic surgery after the flight and organise last minute music in the middle of the country with no equipment.

PPN bizniss is well underway, we've finished our training for the new volunteers and are as prepped as can be seeing as Orientation starts tomorrow. I should really get to bed since I have to be up at 5 tomorrow and am expecting to work 7am- 9pm or so to kick off a massive week.

Tomorrow also marks 1 year since Nana passed. I still sometimes catch myself thinking I should give her a call, or wondering what she would say when I told her various pieces of news. I miss her, and Pop.
