YAY!!!!!!!!!!!! Only two exams left!!!!! And I have a halfway decent chance of passing one of them (french). Not so good a chance for the other one, but I don't really care - I've already ruined my chances of passing it. So what if my fourth A-Level goes wrong? The teachers can use it to prove their point to every future student that 4 A-Levels is "too difficult".
Anyways, living at my auntie's was muy bueno! Had lots and lots of fun, mainly through some fabulous one-liners from my cousin, who doesn't even realise she's being funny, because she's only eight. For example, when I was taking her to school on Friday morning, I asked "Do you like going to school?", because she was trudging along behind a little bit. She replied "not really," which I thought was fair enough, I hated school when I was her age too, for various reasons, and she's very clever, but has some not-so-bright people in her class, so really isn't getting stretched at all. As we got closer to the school, I asked why she didn't like it, and just said it was boring. Walking along the outside school wall, I heard her say (she was still slightly behind) "Look Jenni," I turned round and she was pointing at the chicken wire that runs the length of their school wall (the wall's only about 4 foot high) "they've even put chicken wire up to keep us in! And they lock the doors!" Well, that had me bad laughing for a good twenty minutes, and then when she was putting her coat away (her peg's right next to the window) she started waving and doing a dance for me and her mam, who at this point were practically the only people left in the yard. And that's one of the many reasons I love going to my auntie's house instead of being at home! And add to that the fact that pretty much all we do all day is drink cups of tea (i'm such an old woman), and then as soon as it gets to about 7 o'clock, Ang gets out the vino and offers me drinks all night. Only problem is that I don't actually like wine, bu she offers me every drink going in the house : )
Oh and she got me flowers for helping her with stuff. This might not sound exciting, but is actually the very very first time that anyone has ever bought me flowers. But that's mainly because my dad didn't think I'd like any for my birthday, even though mam said I would...they got into an argument about it on the way home on Saturday. I wish I'd been able to stay longer. It's really cool, because it's kind of like being at home without any of the people who live in my house!
And on Thursday night, she told me I danced beautifully. I know that sounds like nothing, but seriously, coming from my auntie, it's the equivalent to someone else telling you that you're the Ronaldinho of Irish dancing....it's BIG!
So that's the weekend. Since then I haven't really done much - a bit of revision today because I had a big panic that I would fail my French, so decided it was maybe worth doing some work, but my mam "isn't going to have time" to test me on the stuff tonight. She said she'd do it in the morning "if it was that important". Erm actually mam, my exam's in the morning. I will be going out of the house at something like 7:30. So at the moment, all I really want to do is go back to my auntie's. Now.
Meh. So I am off, to do OK in my french and hopefully pass my physics on Thursday. No that I have much time to revise for it...
