That whole "being social" bit seems to be working out of late...

So! On Monday, I took a friend of mine from the book store out shopping when she got off of work. :) We went looking for something for her to go clubbing in, actually. I was hoping for a skirt, but apparently we'll be taking baby steps when it comes to that. ;D That's okay - what we DID manage was to get her to TRY ON a couple of skirt - she even liked them - which is, apparently, more than anyone ELSE has been able to get her to do. Yay! And, she purchased a few tops that she normally would not have bought for herself - one of which she will wear tonight when we go dancing!

And, tonight - clubbing! ::laughter:: There will be a group of us, so I'm very excited to be going! Sadly, I do not think my Darling K will be joining us. :( He was going to, but then someone at work decided HE should run the meeting on Thursday morning... he has specifically requested the later shift for Thursday so he could go out with us tonight. So I promised him that we would go again in two weeks. He feels like he's missing out on having fun all the time now, but it would look really bad for him to NOT run the meeting tomorrow (and it will look really good if he DOES). So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him to do well... but I wish he could go out tonight.

Anyway, that's what's going on in my "non-wedding-planning" part of life. :)
