I change the layout and wind up not posting for a week.
Go figure. :) That being said, I'm fairing well enough.
My Darling K's wedding band is ordered. I'm looking for pre-marital counseling and such... ::shrugs:: And I'm looking for hair styles. May I say that looking for a hair style is tedious? Because it is. I love getting my hair done. But looking for an "up-do" is NOT what I would call "fun". I have, thus far, found ONE (count 'em 1) magazine that I bothered to pick up because I liked more than 1 hair style in it (I just can't make myself pay $5 or more for a bridal magazine that only has 1 hair style I think looks nice, but might not even be able to use... what a waste!). Of course, there are so MANY magazine choices, I haven't gotten to look through all of them yet. It's going to take some serious time. And, although I had thought that perhaps I would do something along the lines of looking into flowers again tomorrow, I seriously need to get some laundry done... so the flowers may get put off to next week. At least I know what I want with that, I just need to book a florist... and I'm reasonably certain which florist I want to book, provided they aren't all ready.
Oh! My makeup, however, has been much more fun! I have not found pictures of stuff that I like, but I've got a pretty good idea in my head, and my makeup artist is wonderful. I told her the look I'm going for, and she was right on target. All we really need to do is figure out what color scheme we're going to go with! We played with two possibilities on Monday, and I was quite pleased with the results - mostly I'm looking for something dramatic about the eyes to bring out how blue they are - it was a "smokey" look done with greys and greens... a bit "fae" looking, but not shocking. ;)
I would like my Darling K to set up the printer for me tonight so I can play with things a bit tomorrow... mostly, invitation stuff. :D I need to make sure I buy some ink to have on hand, too. I'm back into full swing with the wedding planning, but feeling as though all the major stuff is now out of the way, I'm much more relaxed about it - which stresses my Darling K out much less! :)
Still have no idea when I'm getting my engagement ring. I'm hoping for my birthday, but trying not to think about it too much... ::laughter:: I want to see the pretty!! ;)
Okay, well. I think that's probably enough rambling on about wedding crap. Next post : actually social stuff!
