I woke up today with a start as my phone rang at 1:00pm, a full hour before my alarm usually goes off.
Restricted Number
On the other line, as I had guessed, is my bet fried Becca. Her reason for calling? To tell me that one of our good friends Sean Lineham has passed on. He apparently, from what we have all heard, took his own life on the 22nd.
Sean was one of those guys you could always depend on to cheer you up and make you feel special. He always had a smile on his face.
It would have been about 10 years that I had known him this coming September. Becca introduced us and I have to admit I was quite smitten with him.
He was always there to talk to no matter where the wind blew me, and as people know it blows me everywhere. He was there when I left my ex in brooks, when my friend Amy passed away 2 years ago, when I moved to Edmonton... no matter where I was I knew I could find him online and geek with him or just chat about life.
I am really going to miss him as I am sure everyone he touched in life will.
