Okay, so he decided to come clean with Pam last season. And that was pretty much the television reality of all of my secret dreams and she rejected him and it was super sad. So he left. I'm fine with his behavior so far-- what gripes my ass is his behavior once he came back. More specifically how he treated Karen.
I feel much more empathy towards Karen through all this because she's had to deal with the doubts and fears about what Jims true feelings towards her/Pam are. And that blows. Believe me.Word. I had to stop posting on the TWoP The Office Karen, Jim & Karen and the general forums, because all the freaking viewers who are JAMMERS (can you see the sarcasm) were going insane in their utter hatred of the Karen character, the relationship that she had with Jim and the actress who happens to portray her during the last couple of months
( ... )
Now, I was going to come in and post my own viewpoint about Jim and Pam, but since I'm one of the "Jammers" I won't (although I'm certainly not one of the rabid "JIM AND PAM 4EVAH!!!1111 KAREN IS EVIL AND MUST DIE!!" fans. And here's a little secret- I kinda prefer Tim and Dawn anyway
( ... )
Oh no, honey-child. I totally want Jim and Pam to get together in the long run-- I mean, its whats meant to be and blah blah blah but I just hate the way the character of Jim has been written this season, he is just dragging Karen along when he knows and the whole audience knows he does not want to be with her. And that just makes him an asshole-- tragically it also makes him very similar to many guys I have known...
Also, isn't it awesome to see "your" buildings on TV? Luka's apartment on ER is like a block from my office (and actually an art gallery-- not apartments) and everytime I see an exterior shot, I get all excited.
I hear ya! I know the season had been all about Pam's emergence blah blah blah- but did they have to make Jim such a dick in the process? I was so angry when he skipped the art show and was really really glad that Pam called his ass on it.
Having The Office set in Scranton in one of the best things about living here! (And I really like it here so how sad is that???) I just went to Poor Richards Pub and took a pic on my phone. I'll have to post it in my journal. What a geek I am.
