So I read the book and was eagerly awaiting my chance to finally see the film..Tonight I saw it, and at first I was disappointed but once it was at the part where Briony is working at the hospital I got emotionally involved like I had been with the book. When the end finally came I was crying like a baby and I felt sick to my stomach.

First of all, the numbers: Atonement has expanded from 32 theaters to 117 for their second week, and for the next week they're going even wider, on 297 theatres. So far (12 days), it has grossed $3,360,448, placing fourth at the box office, which is really impressive. Worldwide, it has grossed $36,016,673.

^ I was watching ET earlier and James talks about his Golden Globe nomination. The sad thing about the video was that it cut out the part after "well done, darling" which is what he texted to Keira. He went on to say that if he saw any of her competitors he would break their legs. LOL.
