I realized after looking over my previous post that I use all caps A LOT (haha).
Also, they passed the bill for the stimulus package (http://www.foxbusiness.com/markets/industries/government/article/final-vote-congress-passes-economic-stimulus_470601_18.html). I'm pretty sure we qualify for it, but I'm never 100% sure because of the way our taxes/income is set up. I'm about 99% sure we do, though. That'll be a nice thing to receive in a few months. Maybe it sounds hypocritical of me to be excited about getting money from the government when I'm pretty anti-government involvement period, but I'm more against them taking our money in the first place than I am them giving it back in the form of actual checks.
It's always nice to see the Democrats and Republicans mostly come together, no matter what the issue. I hate all the division, but I guess that's just a fact of life and politics. It made me cringe to watch Bush's State of the Union address, all the division and stony faces on both sides. It's depressing, really.
McCain will likely get the nomination, and I feel kind of "eh" about that. It appears that I agree with him on most of the issues (if not all, but I haven't gotten that far yet), but I just don't feel great about it yet. To make myself feel better, I looked over Clinton and Obama's issues pages, and that made me feel a bit more secure in my conservative stance. lol. I consider myself to be an open-minded person, and I really do try to understand the perspective they have for things like health care and the economy, but I just can't agree. At least I try, right? I'll refrain from going into another rant about politics right now, though.
I'm considering selling most of my Mommy's Touch OS diapers and buying a different brand. The thing is, I like Mommy's Touch, except this particular lot that I bought has rougher material inside. I'm not sure what it is, but I have another Mommy's Touch that I bought from someone else, and it's inner material is much softer (like inside the FuzziBunz, so whatever material that is). The lot of 12 that I bought are just...rough. I use them because I have tons and they fit well, but if possible I reach for any of the other pockets I have first. I hate that though, because that means I might have a hard time selling them. No wonder they were so cheap? They ended up being a little over $8 each, which is a good deal. I won't be able to find replacements that I like anywhere near that price, and it's a lot I would need to replace (12). Hmm. I'll think some more on it.
