oh, boy

Reagan has developed a preference for some clothes over others.
Now, she doesn't turn down any clothes at all...it's not that she refuses to wear anything I put on her. It's just that if I happen to put something on her that she loves, she throws a FIT when it comes off.

This would include her jeans, BabyLegs, and sandals. She's not too partial to any shirts. I'm thinking maybe it's because the jeans/sandals indicate going somewhere, so if I put them on and then immediately take them off, she gets really upset. The BabyLegs I'm not too sure about yet. She just likes them. She was fussy earlier and wanted her shoes put on, which I would have done except to her, shoes = going outside, and we couldn't do that right then. So I put her BabyLegs on instead, and she just grinned and started running around happily. My mom got a kick out of it yesterday, when I put them on to show them off to her, and then took them off (to get her ready for church). She freaked, and kept trying to put them back on herself. lol!

I met Katie at Old Navy yesterday. Reagan needs some new clothes, BAD. Unfortunately, their selection wasn't very impressive. :/ So we checked out Belk (no luck), and then Gap! Finally got some good deals at Gap, so that made me happy. I got a really pretty dark green dress for Reagan for $20. It'll be great for now, and I can add a sweater to it for fall/winter later. I also got a cheap little summer onesie/shirt, since it's still pretty hot here. Yay! (Thanks for coming along, Katie!)

Amber also came over last night, and we watched "Knocked Up". CUTE movie. I really enjoyed it. I mean yeah, it was raunchy, but it really did have a deeper meaning to it. Maybe being a wife and mother, it meant a lot more than it would to 18 year old single guys, but that's ok. I would recommend it. I liked the lesson of learning to love someone based on things other than romance and passion, and the lesson of working things out in a relationship for the better of everyone and not just for you. These are unpopular lessons nowadays, but I think they pulled it off quite nicely (obviously it wasn't a totally realistic scenario, but it was still nice to see).

I am exhausted today. I'm about to finish the work I have and snatch a nap while Reagan sleeps.

shopping, reagan, movies, clothes
