Summary: Angel dreams of being mortal and with Willow.

You make me love you, love you baby
In his dreams, and not the nightmares of Darla, Angel dreams of being mortal and with Willow in a world where nightmares aren’t made flesh. His favourite dream is of the two of them at some summer party where they’re dancing to some silly song out on a patio under the warm sunshine. Willow only has eyes for him and he only has eyes for her. It’s a silly and sappy romantic dream of love but Angel relishes it because in his dream neither of them have any fears. He can place his warm hands on her hips as she sensuously sways to the music before she leans to kiss.
Although he relishes those dreams, Angel finds that the dreams of Willow are almost worse than the dreams of Darla. At times he longs for the dreams of Willow and what can never be just as much as he loathes them because he knows they’re nothing more than a pipe dream that will never come true.
