Treading the boards, screaming out Macbeth
Just to see how much bad luck you really get
There had been a time when Cordelia Chase had it all: money, looks and popularity. Then she had fallen for the wrong boy, which had caused her popularity to take a blow. At least she had remained the richest and prettiest, until her world had come crumbling down around her once more.
So she’d left Sunnydale and headed to LA to find another life. And for a while things had been perfect, even if she fought evil instead of acting. But bad luck just seemed to follow her around and now she was kissing Angel goodbye for the final time.

Faith truly believed that they’d been growing closer until the moment when Angel had walked into the Bronze and Buffy ran to him. In that moment all of her illusions of someday fell apart. Buffy had left without even a backwards glance. That night Faith had taken home some random stranger in a pathetic attempt to forget Buffy.
The days that followed were like a feverish dream for Faith where she turned her back on her destiny because she had realized that Buffy would never love her. Everything she did was fueled by revenge and doubt yet she couldn’t stop.

Summary: He can't give her up even when he knows he has to.

Darla has always been an addiction that he finds hard to walk away from. Even now when he knows how much she’s destroying everything he’s worked so hard to achieve. Angel doesn’t care about redemption or his friends; the bittersweet taste of Darla’s skin is the most important thin in his life. He’s not sure if it’s an illusion or a nightmare but the only time he feels alive is when she’s wrapped tight around him and everything else pales in comparison even though Darla is destroying him once again. Angel’s completely powerless to resist her although she’s pure poison.
