(no subject)
I am back from the Cape! Where I did not tell people I was going, but my cousin got married and so my mom's whole family was there and it was a great time. My cousin looked ridiculously beautiful in her wedding dress, like she was out of a bridal magazine, and it didn't rain. And I hung out with my other cousins, which I always think won't be fun because it wasn't when we were little, but now that we're older it doesn't matter that there's such an age gap. So we played mini golf, and went out for ice cream perhaps too many times, and sat out on the deck. My cousin Karl brought me all of season five of Doctor Who (minus the one that hadn't aired yet at the time, of course) so I can finish catching up (and finally read the majority of my flist). And my awesome cousin Beth, along with her also awesome boyfriend, are going to be in Holyoke in July for a derby bout so I may meet up with them for that, but if not I'll drive up to visit them at some point. Also spent a lot of time hanging out with my grandmother, who was kind of freaking about constantly being around people and having such a big event. I come by my anxiety honestly! Good old family tradition. And Anne drove herself home so I got to stay an extra night.
And before that... I have been knitting a purse! So that's cool, since currently I use one that Anne bought like ten years ago when she was in middle school. And last Tuesday I drove out to the reservoir near here and wandered around taking pictures. Soon soon soon I'm going to put together a big picture post of everything I've been meaning to talk about or put up.
...this is all very scattered. But it is so hot and I am so tired and we are so going for hot dogs soon, since my parents are home and there are only weird red hot dogs in Maine.
