This semester is flying by!!! I was really depressed today because I got a B on a paper! That was almost grounds for me to drop out of college...I was really let down. I could've done better. Not to mention, since I can still get an A in the course, I'm really going to freak out about this final exam. I'm offically signed up for Film Lit. for the

Look at how many people love you? How cool is it that your parents and your sister can read your thoughts and tell you how much they love you in writing? You should print this out and put it on your wall and Thank God every day for the amazing people in your life. In the words of Jack Johnson "It ain't always easy and sometimes life can be decieving" SO true, Jack. So very very true. There is a balance to everything in life, but because of our different perspectives I think it's often difficult to see this. Now I don't know a lot about life, I don't know much of anything with any kind of certainty, but if there's one thing I have learned it's that stressing out over grades is a waste of time. In fact, stressing out over anything that you can't change is a waste of time. If you're not happy with a grade, look at it in positive terms, like what can I learn from this experience that will help me in the future. Don't beat yourself up over a B, sheesh if I beat myself up over Bs I'd have just about beat myself to death now (and I go to a ridiculously easy school for Pete's sake!) In twenty years, your accomplishments in life are going to overshadow your grades--one letter doesn't even come close to the words and sentences of all these people that love you.
