Conundrum: The Red Sox are trailing the Yankees by two in the east, and are tied with the White Sox for the Wild Card. The Yankees are playing the White Sox. Whom do I root for (ignoring for a moment the maxim "never root for the Yankees")? Or do I simply view it as a situation with no downside?
