Keeping Busy......
I haven't really had much time to sit at the computer and write lately, as much as I love to do so. I think it is good I have been keeping my mind occupied though, keeps me from thinking about bad stuff to much and means that I am getting out of the house a lot. Since graduation time I have been going non-stop it seems. I was also quite sick for a little while. I seem to be getting better finally, I ended up having to go to the doctor for my stomach problems. Other than that, I went skeet shooting for my first time and shot the 12 guage shotgun along with the big boys. This was part of a bbq up at Aaron's brother's house to celebrate his getting married to Ari. I went to Great America last weekend for my first time in like eight years. We rented a van and had good food and good music and great fun. We went on all of the good ones like Top Gun, Drop Zone, The Demon, Rip Roaring Rapids, Vortex and the new one, Invertigo. I am still unpacking and putting together the house and my room. I love living in a house that I can do anything I want. There is always something to do and it is fun to see the results of your hard work. I painted my room and took out the carpet in there which had beauitful hardwood floor underneath it. This weekend is going to be finishing the bathroom project, hanging all of my stuff up around the house like the wine rack and a mirror and shelf and stuff. I have also been reading a lot lately. I am reading like four books right now. I got a library card from the county, first time ever having one here in Chico. I have never lived this close to the library before though. It is literally a walk away. I have been working at the new job, doing fashion merchandising. It is a lot of fun but there are a lot of prissy girls that go in that store which I just want to smack sometimes. I am starting my training at Catalyst in a month though, which means a good job with more money. I have officially made the decision to take a semester off of school before going in the master's program. I don't think I can sit in another classroom for awhile or I might just go absolutely insane. So yah, things are pretty good right now. I am loving this living with Aaron thing. I have never lived with a boyfriend before and it is great fun. Everyone has been asking us when we are getting married. The funny thing is that I have already married him in my mind. I am in no hurry to actually get married though. I am having enough fun just being the girlfriend right now. I am also working on myself which I think is really important. I went to my first eating disorder group last night which was a bit nerve-wracking at first but I liked it once I got over that part. I am going to go next week and see how it goes.
