there and back again
I was lying in bed, wide awake at 2 AM, and realized I never posted this. The reason I'm awake at 2 AM is because my body thinks it's 4 PM... in Japan. Yes, David and I finally made it to Japan, his dream come true. And it was fun and amazing! I meant to post here before we left, but it just fell off my radar in and admidst the final prep, but if anyone still active on LJ is interested in reading about our trip, I wrote a travel log. There aren't very many pictures up yet, because we haven't found/installed a gallery extension yet that works the way we'd like. But there are few, in David's posts. We took his laptop, and so he downloaded all the pictures and videos in the evenings and played with that, while I wrote up my travel logs on my tablet in the evenings. It worked out really well, because I knew if I didn't write things up RIGHT AWAY, I would have forgotten a lot of stuff, and it probably would not have happened.
Anyhow, happy 2012 to everyone! Hope you're all doing well.
